Clinical Supervision for Registered Clinical Social Work Interns

Group and individual supervision meetings are available and can be held either in person or on video.

Let's work together!  Feel free to contact me via phone call or email in order to set up a consultation call and discuss the next steps

A personalised supervision process tailored to you

During weekly supervision meetings, interns will engage in case consultation and have the opportunity to further develop clinical and ethical competence.  Topics typically discussed include assessment and diagnosing, the use of evidence based interventions, crisis intervention and risk assessment, trauma informed care approaches, ethical dilemmas, clinical documentation and progress notes, discharge planning, boundary setting, self care/burn out prevention, building a professional network and planning for licensure.  Interns will also have the opportunity to build confidence, clinical judgment and gain valuable feedback.

Is Qualified Supervision Right For You?

RCSWI minimal requirements include MSW degree from and accredited university and Registered Intern License in the state of Florida.  Supervision hours will not count toward licensure until the intern registration has been issued and the Board has approved your supervisor.  During supervision, interns must complete 100 hours of direct supervision in no less than 100 weeks and 1.500 face to face psychotherapy with clients.
